Two people suffocated to death in an illegal tin mine
(Baonghean) -On the morning of May 11, the People's Committee of Chau Ly commune (Quy Hop district, Nghe An) announced that a work accident had just occurred, causing Vi Van Hoang and Vi Van Tien (both residing in Ban Bon commune, Chay Ly commune) to suffocate in a mining tunnel.
When Mr. Hoang and Mr. Tien were using a diesel engine placed in the mine to pump water to mine the ore, due to the exhaust fumes from the engine, the tunnel was cramped and nearly 10 meters deep, so there was a lack of oxygen. When the gold miners in the tunnel discovered it, Mr. Hoang and Mr. Tien had suffocated to death at the bottom of the tunnel.
It is known that the tin mine is located on the border between Chau Ly commune (Quy Hop district) and Tan Hop commune (Tan Ky district).
