Two largest gold factories in Vietnam temporarily stop operations
On the afternoon of July 23, the leaders of Besra Vietnam Group officially announced the suspension of operations of the two largest gold factories in the country in Quang Nam...
Two gold mining factories Bong Mieu (Phu Ninh district) and Dak Sa (Phuoc Son district, Quang Nam) officially closed and temporarily ceased operations on the afternoon of July 23.
More than 1,000 Besra Vietnam employees working at these two factories have temporarily lost their jobs.

Immediately after the closure, Besra Vietnam Group requested local authorities of Phuoc Son and Phu Ninh districts to support and coordinate with the company's security forces to protect security and order at the two gold mine areas.
It is known that the reason for the temporary suspension of operations is due to the pressure of tax enforcement measures including the freezing of bank accounts and invalidation of invoices applied by the Quang Nam Tax Department to the two companies Phuoc Son Gold and Bong Mieu Gold from April 2014 to present.

Besra Vietnam has no choice but to temporarily suspend production at two gold mines until the tax enforcement measures are removed.
Previously, Quang Nam issued a tax enforcement order when the company had not yet paid hundreds of billions of dong to the budget.
Currently, Quang Nam province's leaders have not yet made any specific decisions or measures after these two gold factories announced their closure.
