Russian Navy conducts military exercises in the Black Sea

On July 4, the Russian Navy conducted military exercises across the entire Black Sea region.

According to a source from the Russian Ministry of Defense, participating in the military exercise were the Navy, other Russian forces, more than 20 warships and many helicopters.

All armed forces took part in the exercises in near-real combat conditions. On the first day of the exercises, Russian warships test-fired five missiles.

The exercise was supervised by the Commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Alexander Vitko. However, the Russian Defense Ministry source did not say how long the military exercise would last.

The Russian naval exercise coincided with the Breeze military exercise of seven NATO member states in the western part of the Black Sea.

The exercise was led by the Bulgarian Navy, with the participation of warships from the US, UK, Türkiye, Greece, Italy, Romania and NATO's TWO mine clearance group./.
