According to the Rear Admiral, Ukraine will take back Crimea, thus preparing to fight Russia. "There will be many losses - both our soldiers and civilians" - Rear Admiral Neizhpapa declared.
"Our forces are preparing for the above-mentioned major military operation. I cannot reveal the plan in full, but I can give a small detail: the range of the "Neptune" missile system allows it to approach the target from mainland Ukraine to Sevastopol on the Crimean Peninsula. Now, let's wait and see the results," said Rear Admiral Neizhpapa.
The signal for the start of the clash came as Russia made moves in an effort to restore the Northern Canal on the Crimean Peninsula, the rear admiral added.
Previously, Ukraine supplied 85% of Crimea’s fresh water needs through the Northern Canal. However, since the Crimean Peninsula was annexed by Russia, the supply of clean water to the peninsula has completely stopped.
Ukrainian officials refuse to restore clean water supplies to the peninsula, and have frequently criticized Russia's plans to seize the North Crimean Canal.
Ukrainian politicians refuse to restore water supplies to the peninsula, but regularly talk about Russia's "plans" to seize the North Crimean Canal. In fact, there are freshwater sources in the republic.
