Two Vietnamese agricultural products won the International Quality Gold Award

Quang Tri province has just had two agricultural products, Cua pepper and Huong Hoa tapioca starch, win the International Quality of the Century gold award presented by the Spanish organization Business Initiative Directions.

This is an organization founded in 1986 that is very prestigious in the world for implementing comprehensive quality assurance processes through the QC 100 total quality management process.

Tieu Cua and Tinh Bot San Huong Hoa are 2 of 76 products from 114 countries in the world that won the award and are the only two products from Vietnam that were selected by the Organizing Committee to receive the gold award this time. To win the award, these two products must meet three criteria set by the Organizing Committee: sustainable development; customer satisfaction and creative business. The award has opened up a promising direction in bringing the agricultural product brand of Quang Tri as well as Vietnam to customers around the world.

Mr. Ho Xuan Hieu - General Director of Quang Tri Trading Company Limited said: “We realize that most of Vietnam's products are very difficult to export to the European and American markets. These are two markets with strict quality requirements but higher prices. From there, we have the orientation of producing high-quality products targeting the European and American markets. Winning this award is a great opportunity to open up new markets for Quang Tri and Vietnamese agricultural products to export to Europe and America.”

The award is also a passport for Cua Pepper and Huong Hoa Tapioca Starch products to integrate into demanding markets around the world.
