(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the cooperation program between the Vietnam Football Federation and Japan, 8 excellent U18 players from Vietnam have been selected to participate in training and competition for 10 days at Japanese clubs, including 2 young stars from Song Lam Nghe An Club.

The Vietnam Football Federation has sent 8 players of the Vietnam U18 team to Japan to attend a 10-day training course with several J-League teams.

These 8 players are the faces proposed by coach Hoang Anh Tuan and are all U17 Vietnam players competing at the 2023 AFC U17 Finals in Thailand, followed by the recent U18 Seoul Cup friendly tournament in Korea, including: Nguyen Hoang Nam, Dang Thanh Binh, Nguyen Thien Phu, Nguyen Luong Tuan Khai, Vi Dinh Thuong, Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Le Dinh Long Vu and Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung.

According to the plan, during the 10-day training in Japan, 8 U18 players of Vietnam will be divided into 3 different J.League clubs. Specifically: Nguyen Hoang Nam, Dang Thanh Binh and Nguyen Thien Phu will train at Yokohama Club; Nguyen Luong Tuan Khai, Vi Dinh Thuong, Nguyen Quoc Khanh will train at Jubilo Iwata Club.

Meanwhile, two young players from Song Lam Nghe An training center, Le Dinh Long Vu and Pham Nguyen Quoc Trung, will train at Mito Hollyhock Club. During the training, the players will also compete with J.League youth teams and watch some matches in the Japanese national championship.
