Two fishing boats in Cua Lo caught fire for unknown reasons

(Baonghean) -At 9:30 this morning, August 8, at Nghi Thuy ward fishing port, 2 fishing boats of Nghi Tan ward fishermen caught fire.

Those were the fishing boats of Mr. Nguyen Van Tan in Block 2 and Mr. Nguyen Van Duong in Block 1, Nghi Tan Ward. Just after returning from fishing, after selling seafood, these two boats docked at Nghi Thuy Ward fishing port on the river bank of Nghi Tan Ward, parked next to each other, and suddenly caught fire.

Immediately after discovering the fire, the two ship owners reported the incident to the authorities and the Cua Lo Town Police Fire Prevention and Fighting Police came to the rescue. However, because there was a large amount of oil on the two ships, the fire fighting force had difficulty extinguishing the fire.

According to local estimates, the fire caused about 300 million VND in damage. Authorities are currently investigating and clarifying the cause./.
