On February 21, Dong Nai police said they were searching for two young men who used machetes to chase and slash a passenger bus on Highway 1 through Trang Bom district.
According to initial investigation, yesterday afternoon (the 5th day of Tet), a passenger car traveling from Binh Thuan to Ho Chi Minh City on National Highway 1A through Ho Nai 3 area was suddenly chased by two young men on a motorbike with machetes, challenging and cursing the driver, demanding that he stop.
A member of the bus said that two people on a motorbike with a Dong Nai license plate chased the bus for about 3km, and in addition to slashing the car, many large vehicles were also threatened. "At that time, everyone on the bus was very scared, luckily they did not injure anyone," this person said.
After the incident, the driver reported it to Trang Bom District Police for investigation.
