On October 23, the authorities of Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province are coordinating to search for the missing victim after a collision between two motorboats on the Dong Kho river, and are investigating the cause of the incident...

The incident occurred on the night of October 22 on the Dong Kho River, in Phuoc An Commune, Nhon Trach District. At that time, the motorboat was driven by Mr. Vo Van Het, born in 1993, carrying 3 people including Ms. Tran Thi Cam Vang, Mr. Luong Tan Dung, residing in Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City and Mr. Dung's wife.

Authorities organized a search for the victim that night.

Due to the darkness and limited visibility, a collision occurred with another motorboat traveling on this section of the river, driven by Nguyen Van Hai, born in 1989. After the strong collision, both motorboats were left to sway in the middle of the water, causing the people on board to fall into the river.

Discovering the incident, many people came to the rescue and promptly pulled 4 people to shore, but Mr. Luong Tan Dung was swept away by the water and went missing.

Upon receiving the news, the search and rescue team of Nhon Trach district coordinated with the fire prevention and search and rescue team of Dong Nai province to arrive at the scene to deploy a plan to search for the victim. Due to the darkness and high river water, the search was difficult. As of the morning of October 23, the authorities had not yet found the victim.
