Two orphans need help
(Baonghean.vn) –Not long after their father passed away, on September 2nd, their mother passed away due to illness. The two orphans are in need of help from philanthropists.
At noon on September 2, 2013 - Independence Day, the people of Block 1A, Anh Son Town, Anh Son District, Nghe An Province had to mourn Ms. Doan Thi Hoa. Mr. Cao Tien He - Secretary of the Block Party Cell said: "Mr. Dang Van Kieu from Dang Son Commune - Do Luong married Ms. Doan Thi Hoa from Hoi Son Commune - Anh Son. The couple had two daughters together, the eldest is Dang Thi Khanh Huyen born in 2001, grade 6 at Hoi Son Secondary School, the younger Dang Thi Khanh Linh born in 2008, studying at the Town Kindergarten.
In 2010, Mr. Kieu fell ill and passed away, leaving behind a widow and orphaned children. The family's life was full of hardships. Ms. Hoa was weak and had no stable job. Every day she sold shrimp and prawns, struggling to feed three mouths and to educate her children.
In May 2013, Ms. Hoa fell ill and passed away on September 2, leaving behind two helpless children who did not know where to turn when their relatives were also in very difficult circumstances. The paternal grandparents were in their 80s and had no benefits. There was no one on the maternal side to rely on, and one of their uncles suffered from mental illness. All two children are currently relying on their uncle, Tran Van Dong, in block 1B, who is also near-poor.
Sisters Huyen and Linh no longer have a father or mother.
Faced with that difficulty, the bloc's front committee reported to the government, the Town front, and Mr. Son went from house to house asking people to help Huyen and Linh, receiving over 2 million VND.
To help two orphans, creating conditions for them to continue going to school, we hope that authorities at all levels, social organizations, and philanthropists will be generous in showing mercy to the two sisters Huyen-Linh.
