Gamers who have used up their four hours of online gaming time allowed in a day must wait until the next day to get another four hours.

In addition, this system will automatically turn off the online game for 10 minutes after the first two hours so that gamers can "rest" and can continue playing for the remaining two hours.

The South Korean government is trying to wean students and young people off gaming addiction, preventing assaults and suicides related to online gaming addiction.

Many schools and educational institutions in South Korea are very supportive of the system, while network operators and online game providers are “not happy at all.”
