In the latest response, South Korean Unification Ministry deputy spokesman Kim Eun-han said the ministry "deeply regrets" North Korea's missile launch, saying the move could have a negative impact on efforts to bring peace to the Korean Peninsula.
Speaking to the press, this official stated: "Our basic stance on inter-Korean relations is that we will fully implement the joint statements that the leaders of the two Koreas agreed to in order to realize the goal of denuclearization and establishing peace on the Korean Peninsula"./.
