Ghost airline hasn't flown a flight in 27 years

American journalists uncover a ghost airline that has existed for 27 years without making a single flight.

That's according to the Daily Mail. Journalists discovered that the American airline Baltia Air Lines, has not carried a single passenger during its entire existence. Meanwhile, this airline has a large passenger plane Boeing 747, located in Michigan at Willow Run Airport.

Baltia Air Lines was founded in 1989. The airline was supposed to operate direct flights from New York to St Petersburg, but it faced a number of difficulties, including problems with obtaining a license from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In connection with this, a Baltia Air Lines plane never took off.
