Many banks adjust USD price up; SJC gold stable at over 69 million VND/tael

Currently, the USD/VND exchange rate is in the range of 23,400 - 25,213 VND. The central USD/VND exchange rate today was announced by the State Bank at 24,060 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate that commercial banks are allowed to trade is from 23,400 - 25,213 VND/USD. The selling exchange rate is also adjusted by the State Bank of Vietnam to the buying and selling range of 23,400 - 25,213 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank currently has a buying rate of 24,190 and a selling rate of 24,530. The buying and selling prices of USD are currently in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.

Japanese Yen Exchange Rateslightly increased

Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of September 25, 2023 at banks, specifically as follows:

At Vietcombank, the buying and selling rates of the Japanese Yen are 160.27 VND/JPY and 169.69 VND/JPY. At Vietinbank, the buying and selling rates are 159.99 VND/JPY and 169.69 VND/JPY, respectively. At BIDV, the buying and selling rates are 160.93 VND/JPY and 169.28 VND/JPY. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates of the Japanese Yen are 161.68 VND/JPY and 165.69 VND/JPY, respectively.

At Eximbank, the buying rate is 161.86 VND/JPY, the selling rate is 166.37 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the buying and selling rates of Japanese Yen are 157.55 VND/JPY and 169.86 VND/JPY, respectively. At Sacombank, the buying and selling rates are 161.68 VND/JPY and 168.28 VND/JPY, respectively.

Thus, today Eximbank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Agribank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the surveyed banks.

SJC gold stabilizes at over 69 million VND/tael

At the time of survey at 5:30 a.m. on September 25, 2023, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 68.25 million VND/tael for buying and 69.15 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 68.50 - 68.90 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 68.36 - 69.03 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 68.65 - 69.28 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Domestic coffee prices remain stable

Updated at 4:30 a.m. on September 25, 2023, domestic coffee prices remained stable.

Specifically, the purchase price of coffee in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on September 25, 2023 was VND 66,400/kg. In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at the highest price of VND 66,800/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 66,100 VND/kg.

In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 66,500 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 66,600 VND/kg.

Last week, the price of green coffee beans in the Central Highlands market decreased by 1,100 - 1,200 VND, fluctuating in the range of 66,400 - 66,800 VND/kg.
