(Baonghean)For more than a month, in Hamlet 8, Nam Phuc Commune (Nam Dan), there have been consecutive fires at night, burning down 7 buffalo pens of households. However, to date, the culprits of the fires have not been found...

According to Mr. Vo Dinh Dat, the head of Hamlet 8, in just over a month, there have been 7 buffalo barn fires. The first was the fire at Mr. Vo Dinh Son's house on the night of August 31. However, everyone thought that Mr. Son's family was careless and caused the fire, so they didn't pay much attention. But after that, fires broke out again, causing people to panic. Other households that "weren't burned" were scared at night, sitting by the buffalo barn with lights on, so they couldn't sleep for a long time, extremely tired!

Talking to us, Mr. Nguyen Van Dao, Chairman of Nam Phuc Commune People's Committee, said: Nam Phuc is a flood-prone area, so every household has built a solid buffalo barn, with the lower part for livestock, and the upper part for storing rice, straw, etc. to prepare for the rainy season and have food reserves for buffaloes and cows. However, bad guys have the heart to set fires, causing significant economic damage to households that are already facing many difficulties. Among them, the biggest damage is the case of Mr. Vo Dinh Chau's house, estimated at about 25 million VND. The fires also affect the security and order situation in the area.

Nam Phuc Commune needs to quickly screen the subjects in the area, along with strictly controlling entry and exit to the area every night; mobilize maximum forces, if necessary, propose additional resources to track down the arsonist and have appropriate and thorough handling.
