Within the framework of the 2018 Cua Lo tourism festival, the traditional boat race on the morning of April 30 attracted many spectators and cheered enthusiastically with many surprises and excitement. The race had the participation of 7 ward units in the town. Each boat had 20-30 rowers and a leader who both tapped on the side of the boat and blew the whistle to signal the rowers to be in sync.

The traditional boat race is held on the beach, in front of Binh Minh Square - the town center, the race track is 1,000 m long. This year's race also has rescue boats, many large and small boats and the enthusiastic cheering of thousands of people for the racing teams.

The race was intense and captivating from the first minutes. After many exciting, fierce, and attractive rounds and the enthusiastic cheers of the fans, the Thu Thuy ward rowing team won the first prize.

Traditional boat racing in Cua Lo tourism festival not only revives a traditional cultural beauty of coastal people but also becomes a unique tourism product attracting tens of thousands of visitors to watch.
