At the time of the police raid, about 100 gamblers were gambling by shaking dice. Because the gambling den was located in the middle of a field, some of the gamblers escaped towards the Ca Lo River.

The police force arrested 64 gamblers, including 31 women, mostly gamblers, gambling organizers and loan sharks, seized more than 600 million VND in cash at the gambling den and seized more than 400 million VND in cash from the gamblers.

According to Colonel Ho Si Tien - Director of C45, this gambling den is owned by Tu "tro" and his associates including Huong "dong co" and a man named Dich, and has been operating since before Tet.

The gambling den operates two shifts each day, the day shift from 11:30 to 15:00 and the night shift from 23:00 to 3:00. The gambling locations are located in two places, one shack at the pumping station of Tan Dan commune and the other shack at the brick kiln area bordering Mon Tu village, Tan Dan commune, Soc Son and Phuc Thang ward, Phuc Yen town, Vinh Phuc province.

The gambling den is fully equipped with engines, boats and other means of transport to pick up and drop off gamblers and escape when discovered.

Every day, gamblers gather at Thu Hoa coffee shop on the side of Highway 2 and the Highway 2 ticket control station to wait for buses to pick them up.

During the search, the police seized a military gun and many knives and swords of various types. The police temporarily took the suspects to the police station for further investigation.
