During the reunion, records for Vietnamese calligraphy will be set such as the longest parallel sentence, the map of Vietnam created with the most seals, the set of ABC calligraphy paintings written by the most calligraphers, the record for carving Buddhist scriptures in stone, the "Decree on the Transfer of the Capital" in calligraphy done by the most people, and the person who wrote the "Dhammapada" in calligraphy with the largest size.
"Reunion of Vietnamese calligraphers" took place on April 20 and 21, organized by the Vietnam Book of Records Center in collaboration with Hoa Lu Hotel and the management board of Bai Dinh Pagoda. This is a cultural activity towards the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and the 1,042nd anniversary of Dinh Bo Linh's coronation as emperor.
