Tens of thousands of people across the country visited Uncle Ho's Mausoleum on his birthday.
(Baonghean.vn) -On May 18 and 19, despite the hot weather in Hanoi, tens of thousands of people from all over the country made a pilgrimage to Ba Dinh Square to visit Uncle Ho's mausoleum.
According to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board, since the beginning of the year, over 1.2 million people have visited Uncle Ho. Since the beginning of May alone, 500,000 people have visited the Mausoleum, peaking during the two weekend days coinciding with May 18 and 19, the 123rd anniversary of his birth, with about 70,000 people visiting his Mausoleum to visit his residence and workplace, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude to the great leader of the Vietnamese people. Among them, there were many typical advanced delegations "studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" in localities who organized flower offerings and reported to Uncle Ho about their achievements.
