From October 21 to November 30, according to the new phase of air transport plan, people traveling by plane residing in level 4 epidemic areas (red) or blockaded areas; departing on flights from level 4 epidemic areas; flights departing from Tan Son Nhat airport, Can Tho all need to have a negative test result (PCR or rapid test) within 72 hours before the flight.

Other passengers only need to meet one of three conditions: a negative test result within 72 hours before the flight; a certificate of having received enough doses of vaccine, in which the last dose was given at least 14 days and no more than 12 months before the flight departure; a certificate of recovery from Covid or hospital discharge no more than 6 months before the flight departure.

Airlines operate all routes as before the pandemic, but limit flight frequency.
However, passengers must still declare their health, perform 5K, complete the epidemic prevention commitment, and not participate in flights when having symptoms of cough, fever, difficulty breathing, etc. In particular, they must strictly quarantine according to the regulations of each locality. For example, in Nghe An, if they have not been vaccinated, they will have to be quarantined for 14 days, if they have been fully vaccinated, they will be quarantined at home for 7 days...
