Passengers through Vinh Airport increased by 20%

(Baonghean.vn) -According to Vinh Airport, in the first two months of 2016, from January 1, 2016 to February 25, 2016, there were 251,508 passengers passing through the port, an increase of 20% compared to 2015.

The volume of goods passing through the port reached 714,023 kg, up 24% over the same period with a total of 935 takeoffs and landings, up 14% over the same period. This is the time of the Lunar New Year, there are days when the number of passengers increases dramatically, the peak is from January 3 to 20. The peak day reached 7,286 passengers in both directions.

The increased flights are mainly focused on the Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh - Ho Chi Minh City route (Vietnam Airlines 2-3 flights/day, VietJet Air 01 flight and Jetstar Pacific 01 flight).
