Cross-Vietnam journey "From Sen village to Nha Rong wharf" arrives in Nghe An
(Baonghean) -On the evening of July 2, more than 350 volunteers in the cross-Vietnam journey named "From Sen Village to Nha Rong Wharf" departing from Hanoi arrived at Uncle Ho's hometown, Sen Village.
This morning, July 3, at Kim Lien relic site (Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district), the delegation offered incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh. Next, the delegation visited and burned incense at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - Uncle Ho's mother.
According to the schedule, from July 6, 1,000 volunteers will depart from Sen village, the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, along National Highway 1A through 16 provinces and cities and stop at the final destination - Ben Nha Rong (Ho Chi Minh City) on August 12. The program is not only a journey of enthusiasm but also a journey to build new people who live responsibly, know how to sympathize and share. This year's cross-Vietnam journey has a special meaning on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country.

In the localities that the delegation passes through, activities will take place such as: organizing youth camps in all regions, organizing environmental protection propaganda, planting forests, building rural roads, mobilizing 1 million text messages and giving gifts to support victims of Agent Orange, popularizing information technology in difficult areas... During the stopover in Nam Dan district, the delegation will organize computer lessons, popularize traffic safety knowledge for students of Kim Lien primary school, help people clean up the environment...
Mr. Le Thanh Nam - Head of the delegation said: This is a very meaningful activity for young people across the country. Through the journey, we will maximize the enthusiasm of the students. This is also an opportunity for them to understand our country and people of Vietnam.
Dang Cong Danh – the youngest volunteer said: This is the second time I have participated in the program. I feel very happy to go through many provinces to have the opportunity to learn more about our country.
