"The Spirit of Lam River" welcomes the new year 2015
(Baonghean.vn)- On the evening of December 31, at Ho Chi Minh Square, a special music program took place to welcome the new year 2015 with the theme "The spirit of Lam River".
Attending the program were comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, provincial departments, Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company, Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, MOV Media Joint Stock Company along with singers, artists and a large number of people of Nghe An province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the New Year's Eve, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh happily announced: In 2014, the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province are joyfully welcoming the remarkable results of socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2014 of the province and the event of Nghe - Tinh folk songs being honored by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The New Year's Eve program is a cultural event of special significance, opening the cultural activities of 2015.

This year's New Year's Eve program featured the presence of nearly 100 artists and actors from the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, the Nghe An Province Folk Song and Dance Troupe, and many famous artists such as People's Artist Quang Tho, Meritorious Artist Quang Huy, Hoang Che, singers Dan Truong, Huong Tram, Minh Hang, Phuong Thanh... The program consisted of 3 parts: Celebrating the Party and the country in Spring; Melodies of the homeland; Rhythm of Spring.

On this occasion, Mr. Ono Masaru - General Director of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company expressed the close relationship between the company and Nghe An province. He emphasized "We at Yamaha return here like a child returning to the motherland every spring". With the approval and support of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, within the framework of the program "Yamaha - For the future of Vietnamese football", Yamaha Vietnam awarded a tour to Japan to the newly champion team - U13 Song Lam Nghe An Team. Also on the occasion of New Year's Eve, Mr. Ono Masaru, on behalf of Yamaha Motor Vietnam, presented 40 Sirius Fi motorbikes to the People's Committees of Dien Chau and Do Luong districts with the purpose of providing practical support for the daily work of district officials.
