A scene from the movie “Beauty Scheme” – the hottest movie during Tet 2013
“Beauty Scheme” directed by talented young director Nguyen Quang Dung is the second 3D film produced by Vietnamese Cinema (after the film “School Ghost”), with a cast that is attracting audiences such as: Thanh Hang, Tang Thanh Ha, Ngoc Quyen, Diem My 9x... The film is set in ancient times, telling the story of a tavern called Duong Son Quan located on a land with rugged terrain. The leader of this place is Kieu Thi - a female leader of a gang of beauties who specializes in seducing men to Duong Son Quan to rob gold, silver and jewels. Linh Lan (played by Tang Thanh Ha), a mysterious flower, has wandered here. Carrying hatred for the murderer of her family, Linh Lan was taken in by Kieu Thi and the gang of long-legged robbers, trained in martial arts, waiting for the day of revenge. Duong Son Quan has turned Linh Lan into a cold-blooded female assassin. However, with her good nature, she eventually returned to justice... With attractive content, many spectacular scenes and beautiful martial arts, right in the first days of showing in theaters across the country, the movie "My Nhan Ke" broke all records of revenue of Vietnamese Cinema up to now. In the first 3 days of showing at Cinema 12 - 9, Vinh City, the movie "My Nhan Ke" attracted audiences to fill all seats. According to the Management Board of Cinema 12 - 9, this movie will continue to be shown continuously until the 15th of January.
The film “Tay Son Hao Kiet” was screened for free at Ho Chi Minh Square on the occasion of the 224th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da Victory (February 3, 1789 – February 3, 2013) and is also a historical costume film worth watching. Based on the script of the group of authors Cao Duc Phuong, Pham Thuy Nhan and People’s Artist Huy Thanh, lasting 90 minutes, the film recreated a period in the life of the cloth-clothed hero Quang Trung – Nguyen Hue. That was the time when Nguyen Hue led his troops to the North to support Le – destroy Trinh, here the cloth-clothed hero met and began a love affair with Princess Ngoc Han. The final part of the film is a spectacular scene with the image of the historic Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory when only 100,000 Tay Son troops defeated 200,000 invading Qing troops, advancing to liberate Thang Long in the Spring of Ky Dau year 1789. Notably, after a long absence, actor Ly Hung returned (as Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue) alongside Miss Thuy Lam (as Princess Ngoc Han) to bring the audience attractive scenes and a touching love story.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cu also added: In addition to the above films, after the screening of the film "My Nhan Ke", Nghe An Cinema Joint Stock Company will successively screen other newly produced Vietnamese feature films such as "Nha co 5 nang tien", "Bay vao co mong", "Yeu anh, em danh khong"... In addition to the films shown for ticket sales at Cinema 12-9 to generate revenue for the Company, the Film Distribution Center also carries out political tasks during the New Year 2013 by arranging mobile film projection teams to serve people in mountainous areas, remote areas, and border and island areas in Nghe An province.
