At 7:00 p.m. on March 17, at the Vietnam Cultural Center in France, there will be an exhibition of paintings and installations by French artist Dominique Miscault - Our Village's Rice, lasting until April 4.
37 poems by Tran Dang Khoa have been translated into French by Michele Sullivan and Hoang Thi Phuong. Inspired by this, scholar Dominique drew and arranged the “grains of rice” according to his imagination on the background of the Northern Vietnamese countryside. The special thing at this opening ceremony is that singer Alain Vu Hoang Mi will perform Tran Dang Khoa’s poems in two languages.
Born in 1957 in Thai Nguyen City, settled in Paris since 1978, graduated from the Paris Conservatory, Alain Vu possesses a natural talent: he can sing in two voices: soprano and baritone. The song "Before the Shooting Festival" which he performed as a couple singing to each other, is one of the successful marks that many audiences remember. Singer Alain Vu returns to Vietnam every year
