Most mobile applications have security flaws.
Recent research indicates that most current mobile applications suffer from security flaws that are not too difficult to fix.
According to the latest research by Veracode (USA) on the security of current mobile applications, 7 out of 8 Android applications and approximately 80% of iOS applications have security flaws that could make mobile device users victims of attacks or data theft.

According to security experts at Veracode, most mobile applications suffer from basic security flaws such as the inability to verify the trustworthiness of security certificates, the use of weak data encryption algorithms, and even the storage of sensitive information as plain text (without encryption). These basic security flaws should have been addressed by developers sooner to allow them to focus more on user protection.
Currently, it's not just mobile applications facing fundamental security issues; Veracode has also discovered that web-based applications have the potential to turn users into victims of data theft attacks. Specifically, this security company has identified programming languages at risk, including PHP, ColdFusion, and Classic ASP. Fortunately, Java and .NET remain highly reliable web development languages.
