Hanoi T&T defender sentenced for stepping on HAGL player's head

The key match of round 11 took place at Hang Day Stadium with a score of 4-3 in favor of the home team Hanoi T&T. The referee and his assistants did not detect this foul play by Hong Tien. But then the Disciplinary Board analyzed the match video and made a disciplinary decision, banning the Hanoi T&T fullback from playing for two matches.

Hong Tien will serve his sentence in rounds 12 and 13, starting with the match where Hanoi T&T visits Dong Thap's Cao Lanh Stadium at 4 p.m. today, May 1.

Defender Hong Tien grew up at the Song Lam Nghe An training center. After a period of dedication to his hometown team, in 2004 he moved to Hanoi and then joined Hanoi T&T. The player born in 1985 was also called up to the national team to compete in the AFF Cup 2012.
