Vote Ha Long Bay as a new natural wonder of the world
(Baonghean) -On the evening of August 6, in Cua Lo Town (Nghe An), the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An held a ceremony to launch the vote for Ha Long Bay as a new natural wonder of the world.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the election of Ha Long Bay as a new world natural wonder will contribute to improving the national image, increasing the value of tourism products, promoting and advertising the image of Vietnamese tourism, while continuing to promote patriotism and national pride in Vietnam.
The voting period will last until December 2012 and will be divided into four stages. Currently, Ha Long Bay has entered the final round, which is the stage of voting for the 7 new natural wonders of the world from 28 locations and the results will be announced in December 2012.

Voters will hear a welcome message (in English), after hearing the “beep”, voters will directly press the 4-digit code of the voted location. Ha Long Bay has the voting code 7712.
When you hear “Thank you” it means the vote was successful.
The election of the 7 new natural wonders of the world was conducted by the Swiss organization New7Wonders. In 2007, 100 million people worldwide participated in the vote. After several rounds of voting with hundreds of beautiful landscapes around the world, the program selected the final 28 landscapes. |
