Be awake so as not to listen to what is contrary to Christian morality.
(Baonghean.vn)-Expanding the kingdom of God does not mean expanding the campus, fighting over a small alley or a road, but expanding the kingdom of God means we know how to be patient, sacrifice, be humble and charitable, and live a holy life.
In recent days, we, the true Catholics, have been following and witnessing the unusual behavior of the parishioners of Yen Lac parish (Xuan Kieu parish) in Nghi Kieu commune (Nghi Loc), who brazenly broke down the kindergarten fence to illegally open a road into Yen Lac church. We, the true Catholics, cannot help but feel sad.
The sadness here is not that we are hasty in following the actions of some Yen Lac people, but we also take the time to learn about the reality and reflect on God's words. Through our research, we learned that Yen Lac parish also has a long history, the church, the road leading to the church still peacefully passes through the years with the parishioners here. The movement, reading scriptures, and praying of the parishioners still take place normally like in many other rural areas.

More than anyone else, we, the parishioners, should understand that the way to the throne of God is love and humility. Expanding the kingdom of God does not mean expanding the campus, fighting for a small alley or a road, but expanding the kingdom of God means that we know how to be patient, sacrifice, be humble and charitable, and live a holy life like the image of God, then the kingdom of heaven will come to us.
We Catholics have the concept of living for tomorrow, whether tomorrow is bright, whether we can attend the throne of God or not depends on the holiness of each person today. Jesus stretched out his arms on the cross to be crucified so that his descendants would know patience. We should not waste his great sacrifice, please stop, please comply with what the local government is doing together with the people to reach an agreement to resolve the matter according to the law.
As Catholics, we remember the words of Father Tran Xuan Manh, Vice President of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee at the Conference to honor good people and good deeds among Catholics in Nghe An in 2015. He said: "Before having religion, we were Vietnamese, so every Catholic should fulfill their civic duties and be responsible for building a rich and beautiful homeland. When the country is glorious, religion will shine."
We vow to carry our cross and follow the Lord, following what he has taught us about human morality. His weapons are faith and the rosary. Believe in him, be alert so as not to listen to what is contrary to Christian morality. He will come, come to those who know how to love and serve. Let us do good deeds, to glorify God in heaven, and peace on earth to people of good will.
