HDBank Nghe An supports money to build charity houses for poor households in Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to share difficulties with the community and at the same time demonstrate social responsibility, on February 19, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Nghe An Branch (HDBank Nghe An) organized a donation of money to build a house for the family of Ms. Le Thi Chau, in Xuan Hong hamlet, Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Mrs. Chau's family currently has 5 members, Mrs. Chau is over 90 years old, her son and daughter-in-law are both disabled, and she has 2 young grandchildren, one in grade 4, the other in grade 2, the family's life is very difficult. The amount of money that HDBank Nghe An supported for Mrs. Chau's family to build a house is 30 million VND, a large amount of money, encouraging and motivating relatives, neighbors and local people to support Mrs. Chau's family to have a more spacious and comfortable house.

Building a house for Ms. Le Thi Chau's family

5 members of Mrs. Le Thi Chau's family are currently living in a cramped house of only a few dozen square meters.

According to the plan, in 2014, HDBank will support 5 disadvantaged households in the province with 30 million VND each to build houses. Previously, in early 2014, HDBank Nghe An also organized a house building donation for Mr. Pham Van Tham, Hamlet 1, Quynh Bang Commune, Quynh Luu District.

This has been a traditional activity of HDBank for the past 5 years since the establishment of the branch in Nghe An. In addition to donating money to build houses, HDBank also has many meaningful social activities every year such as supporting people affected by floods, supporting poor students with good academic performance, supporting humanitarian eye surgery for the poor... On average, each year the budget for social activities is about 300 million VND, taken from the bank's welfare fund.
