The People's Council of Anh Son and Nghia Dan districts for the 2011-2016 term held its first session.

- On the morning of June 21, the People's Council of Anh Son district, term XVII, held its first session for the 2011-2016 term. Attending the session were comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and 40 People's Council delegates who were elected in the recent election. At the session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council; Ms. Vo Thi Hong Lam - Deputy Secretary of the Anh Son District Party Committee continued to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee.

- Attending the first session of the People's Council of Nghia Dan district, term XVIII, were 40 delegates elected from 8 constituencies in the district. At the session, comrade Le Duc Truong, Secretary of the District Party Committee - Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVII, continued to be re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Council, comrade Vi Van Dinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee - Chairman of the District People's Committee, term XVII, continued to be re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee, term XVII (term 2011-2016).
