Nghi Loc District People's Council, 18th term, held the 12th session

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 24, the 18th Nghi Loc District People's Council opened its 12th session. The session approved 29 reports, notices, and submissions from the District People's Committee, the Standing Committee and committees of the District People's Council, the People's Procuracy, the People's Court, and the District Fatherland Front Committee.

The report of the District People's Committee on the implementation of the socio-economic, defense and security plan in 2015 presented at the meeting stated: in 2015, although Nghi Loc faced many difficulties in weather, limited investment resources... Nghi Loc district's economy had a growth rate of nearly 11%, an increase of 2.3% compared to 2014. Production value reached 7,599 billion VND, reaching 103.38% of the plan and an increase of 14.92% compared to 2014.

Budget revenue was 143 billion 034 million VND, up 18% over the same period last year. Many production projects were attracted and implemented by the district in the area. The whole district has 2 more communes recognized as meeting the new rural standards and 3 communes have just been assessed and proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to recognize the standards this year. The work of job creation, poverty reduction, and ensuring social security has been directed with attention. National defense and security have been maintained.

At the meeting, the People's Council delegates, organizations, units, departments and branches discussed and clarified some of the presented contents. The meeting considered and approved 14 resolutions. Of which, 6 resolutions were on socio-economic development, 8 resolutions were on personnel work of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district.
