The People's Council of Quy Hop and Quy Chau districts for the 2011-2016 term held its first session.

On the morning of July 4, the 17th term People's Council of Quy Hop district held its first session.

The People's Council of Quy Hop district approved the report on the results of the election of the 17th term of the People's Council, elected the committee to examine the qualifications of the district People's Council delegates, synthesized voters' opinions and recommendations at the election of the 13th term of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2011-2016, and listened to the committee to examine the qualifications of the district People's Council delegates, term 17, term 2011-2016.

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Dinh Dat, Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Board, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council for the 17th term; Mr. Cao Thanh Long, Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 16th term, was re-elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 17th term.

Quy Chau District People's Council held its first session with the full presence of 31 delegates.

After hearing the election results and the results of the examination of the qualifications of the 18th term of the District People's Council, term 2011 - 2016, the delegates elected key positions and committees of the District People's Council; Chairman, Vice Chairmen and members of the People's Committee; People's Jurors of the District People's Court for the term 2011 - 2016. Comrade Lang Van Chien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, delegate of the Provincial People's Council was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council with 100% of the votes; Comrade Tran Van Chuong - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee with 93% of the votes.
