The 18th term People's Council of Quynh Luu district held the 3rd session

(Baonghean.vn) On the morning of December 20, the People's Council of Quynh Luu district, term XVIII, held the opening session of the 3rd meeting to evaluate the socio-economic situation in 2011 and propose solutions to implement the socio-economic tasks in 2012.

In 2011, the total production value of the district was estimated at 5,300 billion VND, an increase of 13.18% compared to 2010. Food output reached 117,300 tons; output of exploitation and aquaculture reached 39,400 tons. Budget revenue reached 802 billion VND, equal to 168% of the plan. Quynh Luu had 7 social targets that met and exceeded the plan.

That is the rate of families meeting sports standards is 22.1%/plan 22%, the rate of people regularly practicing sports is 32.2%/plan 32%, the rate of people giving birth to a third child or more is 22%/plan 22%, the rate of malnourished children is 18%, the number of schools meeting national standards is 8/8 schools, reducing the rate of poor households to 14.46%, creating jobs for over 3,000 workers. In addition, environmental indicators such as: the rate of people using clean water, households with clean facilities, forest coverage rate of the district also reached and exceeded the set plan.
