(Baonghean.vn) - On May 8, the People's Councils of Tan Ky and Thanh Chuong districts held extraordinary meetings to elect additional district officials.

* On the morning of May 8, 2015, the People's Council of Tan Ky district held the 14th session - an extraordinary session to elect additional Vice Chairman of the People's Council and Head of the Legal Committee of the People's Council of the district. Attending the meeting was comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the District People's Council approved the report No. 157 dated May 7, 2015 of the Standing Committee of the District People's Council on the introduction of the election of the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term 17, 2011 - 2016 for Mr. Tran Quang Phuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Next, the district People's Council delegates voted to elect Mr. Tran Quang Phuong to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the 17th district People's Council for the 2011-2016 term.

Also at the meeting, the report No. 158 dated May 7, 2015 on the dismissal of Mr. Tran Quang Phuong - Chairman of the District Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Head of the District People's Council's Legal Committee from the position of Head of the District People's Council's Legal Committee for the 17th term, 2011 - 2016, and report No. 159 on the election of Mr. Tran Doan Lam - Secretary of the District Youth Union, Member of the District People's Council's Legal Committee to hold the position of Head of the District People's Council's Legal Committee for the 17th term, 2011 - 2016.
