Provincial People's Council supervises "one-stop" activities at the Department of Planning and Investment

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of September 19, the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee continued to supervise administrative reform work under the "one-stop" mechanism at the Department of Planning and Investment.

The “one-stop” activities at the Department of Planning and Investment focus on 3 specialized areas, which are: business registration; investment project appraisal and bidding; consulting on granting investment certificates for direct investment projects outside industrial parks and economic zones (EZs). In which, the 2 areas of business registration and consulting on granting investment certificates for direct investment projects outside industrial parks and economic zones have been implemented under the “one-stop” mechanism with the Department playing a key role. With a large number of dossiers received and processed (an average of 300-400 dossiers per month), the Department of Planning and Investment has promoted the application of information technology in the management process, implementing administrative procedures, limiting incorrect and incomplete dossiers and reducing the need for organizations and enterprises to travel multiple times, receiving, processing and returning dossiers on time and beyond the appointment time.

However, the process of implementing the "one-stop" system involves many agencies and units, but the attention and direction of each agency is not yet focused and determined. Therefore, it is necessary to renew the thinking, awareness and strengthen the role of the Party Committee and leaders so that administrative reform can be put into practice and meet the set requirements.
