Provincial People's Council: Survey on planning and planning management in Dien Chau
(Baonghean.vn) -Continuing the working program, on the morning of May 11, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council led by Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council conducted a survey on the work of planning establishment, appraisal, approval and management in Dien Chau district.
The survey team directly surveyed the planning of tourist areas, such as Dien Thanh beach, the eco-tourism area in Dien Lam commune, the historical tourist area of Cuong Temple - Cua Hien; and the planning of the small industrial cluster Thap - Hong - Ky. The industrial cluster Thap - Hong - Ky has an area of over 30 hectares and has currently attracted 66 establishments to invest in production and business.

Notably, the industrial machinery project of NamSung Vina Company (Korea) with a total investment of 150 billion VND and after 4 months of construction, this project has completed part of the project and put into initial production. When this project is completely completed and put into operation, it will create jobs for over 4,000 workers.
Next, the delegation worked with the leaders of Dien Chau District People's Committee. According to the district's report, up to now, the planning work has been implemented quite comprehensively and synchronously in all areas, from planning the district's central urban area to planning small industrial clusters, Tho Loc industrial park, tourist areas, new rural areas, district central urban areas, type 5 urban areas, rural residential areas... In general, after being approved, the planning has been implemented methodically, from infrastructure construction to investment attraction... Particularly for planning tourist areas, up to now, the district has invested in building basically synchronous infrastructure with a total investment capital of more than 80 billion VND; approved 9 projects to build hotels and motels with a registered capital of 120 billion VND. The remaining planning is creating conditions and advantages to attract investors to industrial and tourism clusters. The planning of new rural areas has been carried out quite systematically and 34/40 communes have completed and had their planning approved.
On behalf of the working group, comrade Vo Viet Thanh noted: The district needs to follow the planning as well as the programs and projects of the Central and the province deployed in the area to carry out planning and adjust the planning with quality, consistency and efficiency. Planning must be long-term, avoiding term-based thinking. Attention must be paid to the capacity of the staff doing the planning work; planning needs to take into account the budget and funding to ensure feasibility.
