Nghe An Provincial People's Council supervises driver training and licensing
(Baonghean) -Continuing the monitoring program on ensuring traffic order and safety, today, October 19, the People's Council of Nghe An province, chaired by comrades: Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee, worked with the PTS Driver Training Center and the Road Motor Vehicle Driving Test Center under the Nghe An Department of Transport.
At the PTS Driver Training Center, the Center's leaders reported on driver training activities in the past time and proposed a number of issues related to training activities. On behalf of the Provincial People's Council's Supervisory Delegation, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam requested the Center to continue reviewing the training process and curriculum to make proposals and recommendations to complete and improve the quality of driver training; pay more attention to the teaching staff; balance the program reasonably between vocational training and teaching ethics and traffic culture; invest and add more automatic vehicles to meet the needs of students; continue to pay attention to building and promoting the brand so that the PTS Driver Training Center becomes an attractive address for the people.
At the Road Motor Vehicle Testing Center, the Provincial People's Council's Supervisory Delegation surveyed the testing facilities of the center, noting that the center's leaders need to do a better job of political and ideological education for the testing staff, and combat negative phenomena that affect the quality and results of the testing. During the testing process, it is necessary to propagate and educate students about responsibility and culture when participating in traffic, contributing to restoring traffic order and discipline, and limiting traffic accidents.
