Provincial People's Council: Focus on monitoring and survey activities

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 29, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council chaired by Mr. Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting in August to evaluate the activities of the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council committees in August, and set out key tasks in September 2014. Also attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office and leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

In August, the Standing Committee and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council closely followed the work program to complete the program of meeting voters after the 11th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council to report to voters on the results of the Provincial People's Council session; urge and inspect the implementation of voters' recommendations as well as the contents questioned at the session of the Provincial People's Committee and the branches. Thematic survey and supervision activities on the implementation of the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council and issues arising such as the management and use of land in agricultural and forestry farms, Youth Volunteer Force; on the price regulations of some medical examination and treatment services at public health facilities in the province; household registration management; results of the implementation of the Dan Lai ethnic project.... Also in the month, the Standing Committee and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council conducted a survey and examination of a number of contents arising between the two sessions under the authority of the Provincial People's Council related to socio-economic issues submitted by the Provincial People's Committee; Coordinated with the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An to participate in a number of conferences and seminars related to the field of work of the elected representative body. The work of propaganda, public reception and urging the settlement of complaints and denunciations of citizens continued to receive attention.
