According to reports from the Public Security, People's Procuracy, and Provincial People's Court since the beginning of the year, all levels and sectors have actively participated in attacking and suppressing crimes and implementing solutions to ensure security and order. In addition to active activities in handling and contributing to reducing the situation of subjects driving vehicles in traffic, weaving, snatching, carrying illegal weapons and support tools; storing and using weapons and explosives..., the situation of law violations in generaltend to increase and become more complex.
The most prominent are cases involving the use of firearms to harm people's lives, including cases that have been sentenced to death. The second type of case is gambling, corruption, and economic crimes that have become more complicated. The types of crimes involving murder, rape, and robbery among minors have increased, including 13 defendants convicted of murder who have been tried by the provincial court. The number of civil cases has also increased and they are more complicated and diverse, especially land disputes, transfers, inheritances, etc.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam highly agreed with the reports prepared by the sectors. At the same time, he noted that the sectors need to assess the actual performance of the sector to see the efforts and endeavors of each sector on the one hand, and on the other hand, demonstrate determination in overcoming difficulties and shortcomings in the coming time; and organize adjustments to some indicators for greater clarity.
