'Revealing' how to bring Crimea back to Ukraine, former president Poroshenko leaves the country
"Permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea" Anton Korinevich told about Kiev's plan to "return" the peninsula.
According to him, the Ukrainian authorities could initiate the creation of an international platform for negotiations on Crimea.
“When we talk about Donbass, everyone understands that the Minsk and Normandy formats are not perfect, but they exist. There are platforms for discussing relevant issues, but there has never been such a platform for Crimea,” the politician said in an interview with the “Segodnya.ua” publication.

According to him, the discussion on the status of the Russian Peninsula should include the participating countries "Norman format", as well as Türkiye and the United States. Kiev believes that this step will be the first step on the path to revising the ownership of Crimea.
Earlier, he called for imposing sanctions on international companies involved in the construction of the Crimean Bridge.
In another development, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko resigned from the state security service and left Ukraine, leaving with his family for Türkiye, the Ukrainian online publication Pravda reported on Monday, citing sources.
“Some of his family members left Ukraine last week. The rest and he left on Sunday. They went to Istanbul,” the publication said.
According to the publication, Poroshenko has resigned from the state security service. Under Ukrainian law, former presidents are granted state security service for life.

Earlier, four people tried to attack former Ukrainian President Piotr Poroshenko when he came out after an interrogation at the State Bureau of Investigation on the sale of the Kuznitsa na Rybalsky plant. The bodyguards managed to push the attackers aside, who responded with tear gas.
