Revealing the secret meeting between the US, Japan and South Korea on North Korea
President Trump's national security adviser, General HR McMaster, secretly traveled to San Francisco, to attend a closed-door meeting on North Korea's nuclear weapons program.
Fox News quoted several sources as saying that the meeting took place last weekend. Mr. McMaster met with officials from South Korea and Japan, including Japan's National Security Council Director Shotaro Yachi.

During the meeting, representatives from the three countries discussed the resumption of communication between North and South Korea. They agreed that this, along with an agreement to allow a North Korean delegation to attend the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in February, were merely distractions and would have no impact on Pyongyang’s nuclear program.
All sides agreed that pressure must be increased to force the Kim Jong Un regime to abandon its ambitions to develop nuclear weapons.
Last month, at a forum in California, Mr. McMaster said the possibility of war with North Korea is increasing every day if the issue of this country's nuclear program is not resolved.
"I think it's increasing every day. It means we're in a race. We're in a race to be able to solve this problem," McMaster told Fox News' Bret Baier at the Reagan National Security Forum in California.
"There are many ways to solve the problem without armed conflict. But it's a race because he's getting closer and closer, and there's not much time left," the general commented, referring to Mr. Kim Jong Un.
