Revealing the time when President Putin and President Zelensky can meet
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin "in the coming weeks", Zelensky's adviser Mikhail Podolyak said on March 17.
However, this meeting can only take place when a "peace agreement" between Kiev and Moscow is signed.
"As soon as the process for the agreement is completed, we will start organizing the meeting. It will take place in the coming weeks. The location is not important to us. It can take place anywhere, except Russia," Mr. Podolyak said.

Completing a peace deal could take a few days to a week and a half, the official said. Podolyak also acknowledged that, at present, both sides areRussia and Ukraineall "firmly defend their point of view".
"The immediate withdrawal of Russian troops is one of the key elements of the peace agreement. However, negotiations are a large-scale process that involves not only Russia and Ukraine. Poland, among other countries, will also participate. This process is not just about signing an agreement. We want a specific mechanism to ensure our security in the future," the Ukrainian official explained, adding that even if an agreement is reached, it will not mean the end of the conflict.
Russian and Ukrainian delegations have held several rounds of talks since the war broke out in late February. However, these talks have not yet yielded any practical results, except that Kiev and Moscow share the same view on organizing humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians from the war zone.
