Hemaraj pays nearly 200 billion VND in compensation to people in the project area in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 25, Hemaraj Company coordinated with Nghi Loc District People's Committee to pay compensation to people of Nghi Thuan and Nghi Long communes.
The total number of households receiving money this time is 1,179 households with a total amount of 178.2 billion VND. This is the amount that Hemaraj Group paid for 129.16 ha/143.49 ha of land that needed to be handed over to the project.
The Provincial People's Committee has paid counterpart funds of over 22 billion VND, the total compensation for project clearance this time is 200 billion VND.
