The habit of turning cars and car trunks into places to store food, drinks or flammable objects has caused many car owners to get into trouble during these extremely hot days.

On an auto forum, Mr. Thang - a car owner posted a photo of a gas lighter that was left in his car and exploded because it could not withstand the heat under the scorching sun.

This car owner said: “I parked my car in the company yard, there was no roof, the front window was covered with a glass shield to reduce the heat, but the heat was too high, up to 50 degrees Celsius or more in the car. I accidentally left a pack of cigarettes and a lighter in the glove compartment, the heat caused the lighter to burst open, the shell flew out and scattered…

Luckily nothing unfortunate happened. If you have flammable items, be careful when leaving them in the hot Hanoi car this week. How scary!

For women car owners, the trunk is often used to store food and drinks. Ironically, these fast foods and drinks often require cool, shady storage conditions.

However, in the scorching hot weather, these foods and drinks are easily forgotten in the car, in the trunk. And of course, the danger in the car on hot days continues to arise.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a car owner, said that when she went to wash her car, the cleaners showed her a bunch of drinks with deformed packaging. Especially carbonated drinks. Several boxes of cakes with egg and bean fillings were also covered in green and red mold, the plastic packaging was bulging.

In cars, fire extinguishers are a common necessity. However, many car owners have had to consult forums and personal pages about whether to leave fire extinguishers in the car on hot days for fear of explosion. Some car owners replace mini fire extinguishers with large fire extinguishers to prevent accidents.
