Donating land for road construction – party members go first
(Baonghean) -Responding to the movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas" launched by the locality, Mr. Bui Duy Tran, a member of Party Cell 4, Quynh Luong Commune (Quynh Luu) has had many practical activities contributing to the development movement.
When Quynh Luong commune had a policy to build rural roads, his family's house and land were located on the road that was being expanded according to the plan. After discussing and explaining to his relatives about the significance of donating land for road construction, his family voluntarily donated 32 square meters of land and dismantled a 32 meter long, 1.5 meter high fence that had just been built.

With the responsibility of a party member, he and his comrades in the village party cell persistently "went to every alley, knocked on every door" to propagate, mobilize and persuade people to voluntarily donate land, contribute money and labor to build rural roads, which received a lot of response. Up to now, the whole Quynh Luong commune has had 196 households voluntarily donating over 6,000 m2 of land and thousands of working days, assets and materials to build roads. More than 11 km of new rural roads have been built and upgraded with a total cost of over 13 billion VND, of which the commune budget is over 7 billion VND, and the people contributed 4 billion VND. On average, each person contributes from 300-500 thousand VND. Notably, the locality has now completed 15/19 criteria for building new rural areas.
Exemplary in local movements, party member Bui Duy Tran actively participates in humanitarian charity activities organized by the village and hamlet; the village roads and alleys are large and beautiful, convenient for travel, contributing significantly to economic development, enriching the family and the locality. It can be said that the new look of Quynh Luong commune today is due to the meaningful contribution of exemplary party members like Mr. Bui Duy Tran.
