Accordingly, at 7:30 a.m. on April 11, Ms. Ha was admitted to the hospital in normal health condition, with dull pain in the lower abdomen, a 2x3 cm polyp in the uterus at the 6 o'clock position; the body of the uterus was as large as a 3-month fetus, with a bumpy surface. The doctor diagnosed Ms. Ha with uterine fibroids and cervical polyps.
Ha's family said that Ha has no husband or children. For the past 9 years, an ultrasound has detected uterine fibroids. She has been taking medication but it has not helped. Today, Ha went to the doctor and an ultrasound revealed many hypoechoic masses, so she asked to be hospitalized for treatment.
After the diagnosis, the medical team at the District Health Center decided to perform surgery to remove the fibroids from Ms. Ha. The surgery lasted more than three hours because 20 fibroids had to be removed. Because the surgery was so long and her physical condition was weak, Ms. Ha suffered from severe anemia.
