Consultation and election of new Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 20, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a consultation conference to supplement committee members and the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XII, 2009-2014.
Attending the event were comrades Vu Duong Chau - Acting Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Party Committee of the Provincial Government; Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Office and departments of the Provincial Party Committee.

Implementing the announcement of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the directive of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on personnel work to perfect the organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, at the conference, the delegates carried out the steps of introducing, negotiating and electing an additional comrade to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and negotiating and electing the new Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Comrade Nguyen Van Huy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, delegate of the Provincial People's Council term XVI, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee was elected by the delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee term XII (term 2009-2014) to replace Comrade Nguyen Hong Nhi - Former Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee who retired under the regime from March 1, 2013.
Thus, with 3 comrades retiring, 01 comrade transferring jobs, and 01 additional comrade elected, currently, the total number of members of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XII, 2009-2014 is 113 comrades.
