Hieu Nguyen transforms into a "cold-blooded killer" in the movie "Quyen"

(Baonghean.vn) - Having made an impression through the role of Truong Ngoc Anh's lover in the movie "Huong Ga" and then the main role in the movie "The Three Troublesome", Hieu Nguyen continues his journey to conquer the big screen audience with a villainous role, marking a transformation in the movie "Quyen" (Director Nguyen Phan Quang Binh), scheduled to be released nationwide on June 19.

In the movie “Quyen”, Hieu Nguyen plays Phi – the younger brother who always stands by Hung’s side (played by Tran Bao Son). The two brothers have been through life and death together since they were penniless, new to a foreign land. To his “big brother”, Phi is a very emotional person: extremely loyal, “loves big brother more than his own life”, understands “big brother” to the point that just looking at his eyes is enough to understand what “big brother” wants and immediately acts to satisfy that wish. As for his opponent, he is a cold-blooded man, killing people lightly, indifferently in the blink of an eye.

The film is mostly set in Europe, the entire crew of nearly 50 people flew to Germany to work for two weeks, so Hieu Nguyen had many exciting days traveling around Europe with the crew and Vietnamese expatriates in Germany. They wholeheartedly helped and supported the crew from the time they arrived at the airport until they returned to Vietnam.

The second thing that Hieu Nguyen remembered was the terrible cold when filming the scene of taking people across the snowy mountains. In Vietnam at that time, it was hot so when filming, he only had to wear thin, light clothes, but when going there, the weather was -2 degrees Celsius but he still had to wear the same clothes to fit the scene, so he was freezing. Not to mention, he had to walk a kilometer around the snowy mountains and back to film the whole scene beautifully. Some actors playing extras fainted because they couldn't stand the cold and air pressure. As for Hieu, he had to... walk barefoot back to the hotel because snow got into his shoes and soaked them.

Commenting on his co-stars, Hieu Nguyen said: “Just like Phi’s feelings for Hung, Tran Bao Son is always dedicated and ready to sacrifice himself for the scenes to get the most beautiful and best footage. That’s probably why he has been especially in demand recently in cinema. Similarly, he put all his effort into the role of the beautiful Vu Ngoc Anh (as Quyen), even though this is her first film. So when acting with the two, Hieu feels quite comfortable…”

Currently, Hieu Nguyen is also a popular face not less than Tran Bao Son when after “Quyen”, there is another movie that will be released in June called “Obsession” (in the horror - social psychology genre), in which Hieu Nguyen plays the male lead. In addition, Hieu will probably participate in a TV series project in the near future and continue to appear in a new movie, scheduled to start filming in September.
