(Baonghean) -In recent times, Nghe An province has issued many appropriate policies and mechanisms to attract investment in developing industrial clusters (ICs). Thanks to that, it has actively contributed to effectively exploiting the potential and available resources of the locality, creating a breakthrough in attracting investment...
Currently, in the province, there are 14 industrial parks that have approved technical infrastructure investment projects with a total planned area of 185.8 hectares, of which the area for industry is 141 hectares (accounting for nearly 75%). A noteworthy thing in the development of industrial parks is that the total investment capital according to the approved project is up to 544.2 billion VND. However, in the implementation process, attracting enterprises to participate in investing in developing industrial park infrastructure has not achieved high results. Currently, only Dong Vinh Industrial Park (Vinh City) has an infrastructure business investment unit, the remaining industrial parks are the investors of the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns. With the investment efforts of all levels and sectors, up to now, the whole province has 6 industrial parks that have basically completed the investment in technical infrastructure items: Nghi Phu Industrial Park, Dong Vinh Industrial Park (Vinh City), Dien Hong (Dien Chau), Chau Quang (Quy Hop), Do Luong Town, Anh Son Town.

Thanks to good planning, the industrial parks basically meet the production investment needs of enterprises. Most of the planning locations are in convenient locations (near traffic routes, not on residential land...), helping enterprises shorten investment time and save costs in compensation for land acquisition and site clearance. According to statistics, the investment capital implemented in the field of industrial park development reached 226 billion VND (mainly from the balanced budget from the investment incentive support fund, targeted investment source of the Government), of which more than 2.3 billion VND is investment preparation capital (planning capital, investment project establishment), 18,293 million VND for compensation for land acquisition and site clearance, 206 billion VND for technical infrastructure investment. As mentioned above, currently there is only 1 enterprise investing in infrastructure business, so it attracts 3,813 million VND and 7,690 million VND of capital invested by enterprises in CNN is then deducted from land rent.
Although there are still some difficulties, recently many enterprises have been interested in investing 1,913 billion VND to implement 113 projects in the industrial park and the main investment fields are mineral processing, forestry products, garment, knitting, mechanical processing, metal recycling, plastic recycling and production, packaging production... With such figures, it proves that the enterprises investing in the industrial park are mostly small and medium-sized, but have created jobs for about 4,900 people. In particular, the production value of enterprises in the industrial park accounts for about 12% of the industrial production value of the whole province.
To develop industrial parks, all levels and sectors are actively investing in the construction of 10 industrial parks with a total planned construction area of more than 212 hectares at Hung Dong Industrial Park (Vinh City), Dong Van, Nghia Dung, Nghia Hoan (Tan Ky), Lac Son (Do Luong), Quy Chau Town, Nghia Long (Nghia Dan), Thach Giam (Tuong Duong), Bong Khe (Con Cuong), Nam Thai, Dong Man Nam Dan). In addition, there are currently 7 more industrial parks with detailed planning and approval, namely Dong Tro (Nghi Loc), Dinh Son (Anh Son), Na Khuu (Que Phong), Hung Tay 9 (Hung Nguyen), Thanh Ngoc (Thanh Chuong), Chieu Luu (Ky Son) with a total planned construction area of more than 100 hectares.
It is easy to see that the development of industrial parks has created a breakthrough in attracting investment to develop local industry and handicrafts, exploiting the potential and advantages of each region, creating many jobs for people, and contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals.
